About SHINee

SHINee is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2008. The band consists of 5 members: Onew, Junghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin. They have won a lot of awards since they debuted. The genre is K-pop, dancepop.

Onew is the group leader with the birth name Lee Jinki. He is born December 14, 1989- which makes him the eldest member. He is also a dancer, host and actor. His nickname is “Only you Onew “and his height is 177cm. His bloodtype is O. His hobbies are soccer, basketball, performing, and he speaks English.

Jonghyun is known for his very strong and lovely voice. He is lyrics-writer to lots of the SHINee songs and his nickname is ”Bling bling Jonghyun”. He is born April 8, 1990. He is 173cm high and his blood type is AB. He plays piano and speaks Chinese.

Key is one of the rappers in the group. He is born September 23, 1991 and his birth name is Kim Ki Bum. His nickname is SHINee’s Key. His height is 177cm and his blood type is B. his hobbies are rap, dance, water skiing and he speaks English.

Minho is the other rapper and has a pleasant voice. He is SHinne’s Flaming charisma. He is born December 9, 1990. He is the highest member with 181cm. He likes to watch movies, singing, writing lyrics and modeling. His is also a very good basket-and football player since his father is a well-known South Korean football manager.

Taemin is the youngest member and known for his very good dance moves. He is born July 18, 1993. His nickname is Maknae Taemin (youngest member). He is 175cm high and his bloodtype is B. He likes to dance, play piano, act and speaks Chinese.

The first time I heard about this boy band I thought they were a little bit too girlie- but I liked them. I heard the song and saw their videos and they were awesome. I didn’t have any favorite member because they were all special. I saw some of their reality shows. It was there that I could see their real personalities and they were lovely. To me Yunghyun is the romantic guy who wanted to be a real man. He is very funny and likes to make fun with the other SHINee members. I also found out that Key and Taemin have a close friendship. The way they talked about each other in the SHINee Yunhanam reality show were like mother and son. Key always takes good care of the other member as if he were there mother. That makes him so sweet. And Taemin is so cute and looks like a girl sometimes. But that makes people love him even more because of his cute charm. Onew is handsome like the other members. He has his own condition. When he sits in the car or something like that he does not move. He sits like a rock and the other members call it the Onew condition. In the reality show SHINee’s Hello Baby Onew was too afraid to touch the baby. It was so cuuute to see when Yunghyun teased him by taking the baby to him and Onew just ran away to the other side of the room.  Minho was very shy in the beginning when I saw their reality shows but after a while he got more open and showed the “flaming charisma”. He was also WONDERFUL in the reality show Hello Baby and he took good care of the baby as if he was his father.
